Candied Lemon Peel Caramel

Our newest special flavor is here.  Candied Lemon Peel caramel.  We made these last year for the Hankyu Hawaii Fair in Osaka, Japan.  They were a big hit so we wanted to do them again so everyone could try them.  It would be easy to just add some lemon juice into our caramels and call it good but we don’t do things the easy way.  We take the lemon peels, boil them in water and boil again in a sugar water solution and then dry them to get our candied lemon peels.  Chop them into pieces and add them along with the fresh squeezed lemon juice to make our Candied Lemon Peel caramels.  It’s more work but if you like Lemon, good stuff.   6 pieces per box

Ingredients: Pure Cane Sugar, Organic Heavy Cream, Butter, (Cream, Salt), Light Corn Syrup (Corn Syrup, Salt, Vanilla No HFCS), Brown Sugar, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice, Candied Lemon Peel, Vanilla Extract, Salt.  Made in a facility that also handles Peanut Butter and Macadamia Nuts
